Megacubo is a program used for watching broadcast television on a computer via streaming. It offers over 200 channels that are organized into different categories such as movies, sports, sitcoms, etc. It also automatically updates the channel lists every 20 minutes. However, if the channel is not available, adding it manually is possible. The program also features Meter Hearing, which displays the most watched channels in real time. Creating playlists of your favorite channels is also possible. Users can watch videos in three view modes – Full Screen, Mini Player, and External Player. It has support for popular media players such as Windows Media Player, SopCast, QuickTime and more.
The program is fully integrated with YouTube and Twitter. Users can watch videos directly from YouTube and share channels with other people via Twitter. Integration with My TV Guide service is also available. There is also the Parental Control feature, which offers parents with control over what channels can their children access. Activating this feature will require a password every time a censored channel is accessed. The program also has the “Sleep” feature, which is used to set the computer to automatically shut down after a specified amount of time. A chat client is included in Megacubo, which is also integrated with CineTurbo. Aside from watching videos, the program can also be used to listen to online radio through its MiniTuner feature.
