The application is capable of recommending charts that are ideal for the data present on the spreadsheet. Users are also able to compare the different ways data can be displayed through a visual representation. This enables users to select the best graph or chart for a particular project. Additionally, users can easily change the layout and title of charts through the formatting area.

Microsoft Excel spreadsheets can be shared with other users in different ways, such as SharePoint or SkyDrive. Other options include inviting people to view the spreadsheet, getting a sharing link and sharing it with others, emailing, presenting online, or by sending it through instant message.
