MiniOS7 utility

MiniOS7 utility is a program specifically made for the use of products rooted with ICP DAS MiniOS7.
Its main functions are to facilitate uploading files and configuring them. The utility supports the following products: 7188XA, 7188XB, 7188XC, 7188EX series, and iView100 series.

The program is easy to use, but a proper connection must first be made. The available options are TCP and UDP connection and COM port. A connection must first be opened prior to the handing of the MiniOS7. For subsequent use, a connection may be opened from the history list. After a connection is opened the program saves the Connection String automatically. Clicking on the item on the list establishes a connection more quickly.

MiniOS7 utility allows remote access of the controllers via the Ethernet (TCP & UDP). Another method of connection that is supported by the utility is RS-232COM port connection. Users of MiniOS7 utility by ICP DAS can configure the following parameters: COM port, IP address, date and time, and disc size. The program is compatible with Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, as well as Windows 95/98/NT/2000.

A programmer using this application does not have to install ICPDAS MiniOS7 Utility if APIs can be integrated and update firmware and IP are set.
