MixPad is a multi-track mixing application used for producing audio tracks. The program supports a drag and drop feature that allows users to drag tracks straight to the timeline for editing. The application’s main window shows the tracks in a horizontal position. Each of the tracks added to the window have their own controls so that users can control the settings for each of the files added. The program can also be used to record audio. MixPad has a built-in library of royalty free sound clips and sound effects. These can be mixed with other audio files to come up with a unique track. Music tracks can be saved as high quality files that can be shared online.

The program’s interface is simple and intuitive. All the buttons for the tools are located at the top portion of the window, while the settings window for each track is displayed at the left portion of the track. The lower part of the window contains the time code for the selected track, as well as the control buttons (play, pause, stop, fast forward, rewind, etc).
