Mortal Kombat 3

Mortal Kombat 3 is an arcade fighting video game and the third in the Mortal Kombat series. It has a cast of characters, each with his or her own fighting style, which players can choose from. Players then face other opponents and attempt to win in battles against opponents. This third installment introduces new types of Fatalities or finishing moves, as well as Animalities. New features include new characters and combos, in which players must press a predefined button sequence to perform attacks.

Players can also dash briefly toward opponents using the Run button and unlock Kombat Kodes that help players achieve certain effects in two-player matches. Kombat Kodes are made up of six symbols and when pressed, allow players to display certain text messages, fight hidden characters, and modify gameplay.

Each character in Mortal Kombat 3 can perform 2 Fatalities in addition to Friendship, Animality, Babality, and 3 Stage Fatalities. Players can also perform “Mercy” in the third round of a fight to grant the opponent a little more health to continue fighting. To perform an Animality, players first perform a Mercy when the “Finish Him/Her!” message appears, defeat the opponent, and when second “Finish” message appears, do the button combination for their character’s Animality.
