Users can download files by selecting the file from the results list and clicking the ‘Download’ button at the bottom of the window.

MP3 Rocket has a tabbed interface and users can switch between tabs when doing tasks with the program. There are lists for popular downloads, and users can also access online TV and radio. All the files are available to download for free. However, there are some files where users must pay to access web pages. Aside from downloading files, the program can also be used as a media player. However, the player only has basic functions for previewing downloads.

One of the main features of the application is converting videos to mp3 files. The conversion is done with a bitrate of at least 256 kbs to ensure quality audio files. The converted files can then be transferred to mobile devices.
