Mx One Antivirus 4.0

Mx One Antivirus is an anti-virus application that prevents threats from entering a computer. It also serves as portable security program that can be saved inside a USB thumb drive to bring anywhere. The program is capable of detecting Trojans, riskware, spyware, worms, viruses, and other threats that may enter the computer from email attachments or from surfing the web. The program works together with other anti-virus programs that may already be installed in the system. It is compatible with security programs from Norton, Panda, Avast, AVG, and Kaspersky.

Mx One Antivirus has a simple interface. The main window contains the buttons for tasks and reports. The left side has a list for navigating through the different parts of the program. These are Scan, Updates, Quarantine, Send samples, Tools, and information about the application. To start the scan, users can select from four scan types – scan the start of the device, full scan, custom scan, and check and destroy. When the application detects a threat, a red window will be displayed. The window shows the name of the virus detected. Users can move the file to quarantine, delete the file, or ignore it and leave it as is.
