Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove (TM) 1

Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove is a hidden object mystery game that was first released in 2009. It follows five other Mystery Case Files games. The game starts as the player stumbles upon Dire Grove during a bad storm. Players see an abandoned car and a video camera, which contains a video of four students researching on the legend of Dire Grove, which centers on a banshee.

Players must investigate different locations and look for items to help solve the mystery of Dire Grove. Throughout the game, players must also look for video tapes that are spread in various places in the game. These videos provide clues and reveal more of the game’s storyline. Aside from the hidden object aspect of the game, players are also presented with mini games in the form of different puzzles. Players can choose to solve the puzzles or skip them and focus on finding hidden objects. Players can keep track of all the clues by looking at the case book. In hidden object scenes, players who are stuck can make use of the hint button.
