Native Instruments FM7 Xpress

Native Instruments FM7 Xpress is a music tool that is designed by Native Instruments Software Synthesis GmbH. This application is based on the legendary and classic sounds of the component of Yamaha’s DX series, which is the FM synthesis. The series includes DX7, DX11, DX21, DX27, DX100, TX7, TX81Z, TX802, and DX2000. These are operators that can be selected and edited via MIDI controller or onscreen.

FM7 Xpress features a simple-to-use and intuitive interface. Users can interpret the FM synthesis with ease. They can import a variety of SysEx patch files that are available for download from many sites on the Web. It is compatible with many music programs for Windows-based PCs, such as DirectX, ASIO, SoundManager, DXi, DirectConnect, MME, Audio Unit, RTAS, and VST. It is also able to read and reproduces sounds from the DX series of Yamaha from DX7 to DX2000.

Native Instruments FM7 Xpress features 64 presets. These include crystalline bells, precise bass sounds, pulsing pads, and metallic leads. It also contains analog style sounds, and pulsing loops. The sound settings option is one tool of the program that enables users to modify and control audio volume. The other features of the program are:
