The Program also displays the number of WiFi networks within the user’s neighborhood in each of the WiFi channel.

Users can also configure the router settings using NETGEAR Genie. It can also scan the entire network map and notifies users whenever new devices are connected to the network. Configuring parental controls is possible as well. The program also features ReadySHARE, which is used for sharing files within the network. NETGEAR Genie also offers the AirPrint function, which enables users to print from an iPhone or iPad. This function requires iTunes and Acrobat Reader to work.
