Nuance PDF Reader

Nuance PDF Reader is a program that enables users to open and view their Portable Document Format (PDF) files. Portable Document Format is a file format used to represent documents in a manner that is independent of operating systems, application software, and hardware. This format contains data such as text, fonts, and graphics. Nuance PDF Reader allows users to open, read, and edit PDF files. In addition, this program has a built-in connection to a hosted Web service that allows users to convert Portable Document Files to other formats such as MS Word, MS Excel, Rich Text Format (RTF), or WordPerfect using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology. Nuance PDF Reader also has a feature that allows users to prevent JavaScript installation for security purposes.

Nuance PDF Reader has command buttons that allow users to change the layout of their PDF files. Users can choose between single page view, two-page view, and four-page view. Users can also choose page preview display or simply choose full read mode. Nuance PDF Reader also has tools that allow users to highlight, cross-out, and underline specific portions of the PDF file. The program also has a search and find function that allows users to look for a particular word or section of the PDF text. In addition, Nuance PDF Reader contains a zoom function that allows users to zoom in and out of a page, and an email button that is used to send a PDF file to another user via email.
