Perfect Resize is a graphics program used for resizing images for printing. Developed by onOne Software, the program is used for increasing the size of an image without losing its details or sharpness. Its predecessor, Genuine Fractals, is used as a plug-in for Adobe Photoshop only. Perfect Resize can now work as a standalone program. Integration with Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Lightroom, or Apple Aperture is still available.
The program is available in two editions – Standard and Premium. The Premium edition offers all the features available in the Standard edition with added features including unlimited phone technical support, integration with Aperture and Lightroom, plug-in to Photoshop, batch processing, supports for grayscale, CMYK and LAB images, and ability to open RAW files.
Perfect Resize supports different image types. It can be used to resize JPEGs, GIFs, and even RAW files. It can also work on images captured using a mobile phone or a DSLR camera. It also offers resizing speeds to up to 8 times faster. Its interface provides a bar that shows the progress of the resizing process. The application comes with document size presets as well. This feature allows users to crop then resize images in a single step. The program features the Gallery Wrap as well, which is used for wrapping a segment of an image.
