PowerArchiver 2002 is a file compression and encryption utility developed by ConeXware, Inc. With this tool, users can easily compress, exchange, back up, and secure their data. It has a comprehensive set of features, including an advanced AES encryption function for ZIP/ZIPX files with FIPS 140.2 validation. It can extract RAR and create not only ZIP or ZIPX files but also TAR, ISO, CAB, and 7-Zip. This tool also has the capability to open more than 30 compressed file formats because of its fast multicore ZIP engine. The latest version runs on Windows operating systems from Windows 2000 up to Windows 8.
