Prince of Persia

Prince of Persia is an action adventure video game that was first released in 2008. It is one of the games in the Prince of Persia series of games. Players assume the role of an unnamed character and must beat enemies in ancient Persia. The hero has special abilities, such as advanced puzzle-solving, acrobatic, and combat skills. In the game, the player travels with Elika, an AI-controlled heroine. Players are free to roam around the game world anytime. Traps are placed throughout the different locations. The goal of the player is to heal the lands. After healing a land, the traps are removed. The game features four types of combat attacks. They are:

• Sword attack – the character uses his sword to attack adversaries
• Gauntlet attack – the character lifts and throws enemies as a form of attack
• Magic attack – Elika helps the unnamed hero defeat enemies by using her magical powers
• Acrobatic attack – the character performs attacks on the enemy in tandem with Elika

Elika is a big part of the game. The unnamed hero cannot die in the game as Elika always saves his life. She is able to grab the hero when he falls and she takes over combat and protects the hero while he regains his energy.
