Silmarils Collection

Silmarils Collection is a 2007 compilation of fantasy games made during the Nineties. The name of the collection was inspired by the works of author J.R.R. Tolkien, particularly of his book The Silmarillion. This collection comprises 16 titles, providing players with hours of game play. Each game is unique, with a fantasy-themed environment and complex characters with magical powers. The collection offers players different kinds of genres, including role playing, strategy, arcade, and adventure.

The role-playing games are the three installments of Ishar, and the Crystals of Arborea. Categorized as strategy games are Tranartica, Storm Master, Deus, and Robinson’s Requiem. The arcade games included are Bunny Bricks, Boston Bomb Club, and Wind Surf Willy. For those who want to experience adventure games, they can select from Maya, StarBlade, Colorado, Targhan, and Metal Mutant. Some of the games combine one or more elements of all genres, and some of them involve puzzles that need to be solved in order to accomplish missions and advance in the games.

The characters in the Silmarils Collection have different psychological dimensions that make them interesting and allow the player to see the in-depth story of the game to immerse players further in the missions. The settings of the games bring players to explore different universes and allow them to meet different characters as well.
