Simple File Joiner Application 2.1

Simple File Joiner Application is a file converter program developed by Peretek and released on January 2008. This program enables users to merge multiple files of the same file type or format and convert several files into just one big file. This is especially useful when downloading a big file split into multiple small parts. This program supports different file types including text files, image files, audio files, and video files. For video files, MPG files encoded the same and featuring the same video size may be joined. Files with file extensions .001, .002, .003, etc. are joined automatically and accurately by the Simple File Joiner Application. However, this program does not support merging of multiple files with different file header information.

Simple File Joiner Application features a single window display user interface. All the functions and buttons are displayed on the default window, making the process hassle-free and straightforward. The menu bar shows three options—Program, Action, and Options. The window shows the selected files to be joined. Below the window are four buttons that enables users to Add, Remove, or Remove All files, or Sort the list of selected files. To reorder the list, users only have to click and drag the selected file to the desired order. The Join button is found on the upper right portion of the user interface. When clicked, a pop-up status box appears showing the Current File being joined, as well as the Overall joining progress.
