Song List Generator is an application that enables users to create song lists out of music files that are stored in the computer’s hard drive. The program is capable of creating a full list of songs as thick as a songbook. Users can specify how to create the playlist. It can be made by song or by artist. Users can also set the font, font size, margins, and columns to be used for the song list. The program creates a list based on the ID3 tags on the music files that are found in the computer. Audio file formats supported by the application include MP3, WMA, AIF, MID, FLAC, and many others.

The settings window shows the different options for creating the song list. Users can change the layout, effects, and page settings. There are also settings for the display style, elements at the top and bottom of the page, and the color of the pages, which can be standard, custom color, or black and white.

Other features of the application are the following:
