SpellForce 2 - Shadow Wars

SpellForce 2: Shadow Wars is a real-time strategy game developed by Phenomic and published by JoWood Productions. The plot of the game follows the story of a Shaikan, which is a creature that possesses the blood of the dragon Ur in its veins. Through this blood, the Shaikan can bring itself back from the dead as well as call forth followers in an instant. The player assumes the role of this Shaikan, who goes back to its homeland only to find that groups of evil elves has begun assaulting the inhabitants. In order to save them, the Shaikan seeks assistance from humans located nearby. Once the inhabitants got the chance to flee, Ur sends the Shaikan to inform the human and non-humans that they need to combine forces and fight the dark elves.

The Shaikan goes to see Baron Ordbragndt, who oversees a village called Norimar. S/he tries to get him to join their cause to which he eventually agrees. The player explores the rest of the village and interacts with various characters along the way. During the course of the game, the player gets to upgrade his/her skills and weapons as well as unlock new abilities. The game offers two skill tress – one for combat and the other for magic. The player can use the points on both skill tress or just one of them.
