Spooky Manor 1

Spooky Manor is a hidden object adventure game developed by the company, Paprikari. In this game, the player takes on the role of Mortimer Beckett, a young man who has an eccentric uncle living in a creepy mansion. It’s been 20 years since Mortimer last saw his uncle and now, he encounters a mysterious package that contains his uncle’s old journal. It has a message addressed to Mortimer, explaining to him that he needs to rescue him from the ghosts that have taken over the mansion. In order to do this, Mortimer has to recover pieces of the Ghost Machine, which are scattered around the house.

The player must solve various puzzles to find the pieces of the Ghost machine. Along with the puzzles, the game also features a story that is presented in a comic strip format. The player can enlarge each of the panels by clicking on them individually. One of the unique features of this game is that the player is discouraged from clicking erratically when finding objects through the appearance of ghosts – the more randomly a player clicks, the more ghosts appear. There is a list of things to find at the bottom of the screen when a player goes to each room. Some of the objects are also divided into two to three pieces, adding difficulty to the task at hand.
