SpywareGuard

SpywareGuard is a security program that helps users get rid of threats and spyware on the computer. The application is simple and easy to use even for beginners. Upon installation, the program sits on the system tray and monitors if any threats enter the computer. When the main interface is launched, it shows the status of the computer. Users can view the working components of the program including Browser Hijack Protection, Download Protection, and Real-time Scanning Engine. These three components are protecting the computer if they have green check marks beside them. Any of the three components can be enabled or disabled anytime.

The “Reports” button, which is located at the left side of the main window, displays the activity log for the program. This is where users can check details about threats or spyware that have been detected in the system. Users can also add a password to the program so that other users will not be able to change its settings. When the program discovers a threat in the computer, a pop up window will be displayed on the screen to alert the user. It is capable of catching threats that are hidden behind CAB and EXE files before they are even executed on the computer.
