StudioLine Photo Basic is a photo editing software developed by the company, H&M Software. It enables users to manage their photo collections efficiently. Through this program, images are imported from such devices as digital cameras, scanners, smart phones in well-known file formats. It features a photo archive that serves as the main database where users can perform various tasks on their images like sorting, and adding descriptions and keywords. The program also offers 30 image tools to improve exposure issues, color tones, and red-eye problems, and other imperfections.
Apart from the aforementioned features, StudioLine Photo Basic has the ability to:
• Add effects to photo images such as black and white, sepia, and smoked glass layers
• Crop, resize, rotate images and add text layers over them
• Support several output formats including JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, and TIF
• Adjust color balance, brightness, hue and saturation, and transparency
StudioLine Photo Basic has a simple user interface that is packed with customizable options. The main navigation bar at the top of the window contain the File, Edit, Geotagging, View, Image, and Preferences menus, as well as a Help button. Below the navigation bar is a wide array of image editing tool icons from which users can select. The middle pane displays the editing projects, while the left and right panes show the image archive and file descriptors, respectively.
