The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim is a fantasy-themed RPG that preceded The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It is the last chapter in the series of the same name and focuses on the pursuit of Alduin, a dragon that is believed to conquer the entire world and destroy it. The plot is set 200 years after the previous installment in the province of Skyrim, in which two parties are engaged in a civil war. Skyrim’s own Stormcloaks are in battle against the Imperial Legion and the player’s character is caught in between the fighting. In the opening sequence, the player assumes the role of a prisoner who is about to the executed in the town plaza. However, a dragon suddenly appears and proceeds to ravage the town, thereby intercepting the prisoner’s impending death.

Elder Scrolls V Skyrim features first-person and third-person playing modes. The player can explore Skyrim’s vast environment, which includes progressive cities and dense wilderness. To travel to and from these places, the player may choose to either ride on horseback or use an ultra-fast system that can transport the player to places that have already been discovered. Once the first quest is completed, the player can proceed to the main quest or go back to it later in the game.
