The Game of Life is a video game adaptation of the classic board game. The game presents the player with a choice between starting a career after high school or paying his way through college. Going on the “road of life” the user will have to make decisions on marriage, career, insurance, and positive and negative events. The game features animated events and gameplay. It includes mini games and bonus challenges.

Gameplay starts with the user’s choice of starting a career after high school or going to college. From there, the user is set on the virtual board game path. A number wheel is spun by the user to determine how many spaces the user will move to. When the user ends on a space, he has a choice of taking a risk like spending for luxury items or taking a safe choice of saving for marriage and such. Some choices include getting married or staying single. Insurance and loans can be taken by the user to help him with getting through a “rough patch”. A player is allowed to increase his chances of getting rich and winning big when receiving Share the Wealth cards and Life Spaces. The game ends when the user retires with wealth or has lost all his money.

The Game of Life allows up to 6 players or 1 user and 5 computer players.
