The Witcher 2

The Witcher 2 is an action role-playing game. It is a sequel to The Witcher and was released in 2011. The game is based on a series of books with the same title. In the game, the player controls Geralt of Rivia. Geralt of Rivia is a witcher, a human who has been taught how to defeat monsters. The character has a set of skills including magic, alchemy, and swordsmanship. The character has a wide range of weapons including armors, bombs, shovels, hatchets, and many more. These weapons can be upgraded to increase the defense or strength of attack.

The Witcher 2 has a non-linear storyline. Players have the option to choose the way the story goes. There are four story beginnings, which can end in 16 different endings. Each decision the player makes impacts the communities and in-game characters. One of the features of the game is Stealth Mode, wherein the player must finish a goal without being seen. There are also mini games integrated, such as Dice Poker, arm wrestling, and fist fighting.

Players must fight monsters in different game worlds including La Valette Castle, ancient forests, the mining town of Vergen, the river port of Flotsam, garrisons, and fortresses.
