TMPGEnc MPEG Editor 3 Trial

Pegasys TMPGEnc MPEG Editor 3 is an MPEG video editing tool used to import, edit, and export MPEG video files. The editor makes use of an intuitive and easy to use user interface to make it easy for users without an extensive background in video editing to use the program. The editor makes the editing process simple using a “4-stage” editing process the developers call “Start, Source, Format, Output”. The program also supports importing files form Windows Media Center with *.dvr-ms and *.wtv file support.

TMPGEnc MPEG Editor 3 also supports direct video imports from HDV Cameras that support an IEEE 1394 or Firewire file transfer. i.LINK interfaces are also supported by the program. Users with moderate to more extensive experience with working on video will also enjoy the program’s “frame-level” editing features. This lets the user get down to the single frames of the video stream, letting the user perform precise cuts and slices. Users can also split the audio from the video stream. This feature makes it easier to insert background music, sound effects and other audio. To further enhance these audio inserts, the program also has built in audio filters such as noise reduction, fade in and out and volume adjustment. This program is now discontinued and is succeeded by Pegasys TMPGEnc Smart Renderer 4.
