VCE Manager or Visual CertExam Manager is a testing application that comes with the Visual CertExam Suite. It is a simulation application that allows users to take a mock examination as preparation for a real test. The program loads text examinations that are created with the Visual CertExam Designer. The application’s main window consists of three menus – File, Exam, and Help. Sample tests that are imported to the program are listed on the window as well. When the mock exam is started, users are taken to the Exam Mode. The first screen is where users can indicate the candidate name exam mode (questions or topics used for the exam), number of questions, and the timer (enable or disable).
After choosing from the preferences, users can start answering questions. There are different options on the test screen including Show Answer, Save Session, Calculator, Pause, and End Exam. After taking the exam, users can view the Examination Score Report that indicates the name of the tester, date, exam number, and elapsed time. There is also a graph showing the candidate’s score and the required score.
Other features of the application are the following:
• Import wizard for creating exams
• Support for adding passwords to mock exams
• Users can print exams
