Volume² is a volume enhancement utility developed by Irza Alexander. This program enables users to manage the sound volume and control sound settings. Sound customizations range from setting default audio source and an alternative choice. This program also enables users to customize sound playback visualizations. This program also features some scheduling functionality enabling users to define tasks that will be executed singly or repeatedly on a defined interval.
Volume² features keyboard shortcuts that enable users to assign tasks to certain keys. These tasks include channel balance changes, screen brightness modifications, and optical media drive commands. This software also features a simple tabbed interface that may be customized (color, clarity, skin type, and icon type). This program also minimizes to the system tray and may be accessed by context menu or right click menu.
Volume²’s user interface left panel features ten Options—Main, OSD, System Tray, Mouse, Screen Edge, Keyboard, System, Schedule, Language, and About. The Main options tab features customization options with corresponding drop down lists to select the desired settings. OSD enables users to customize the On Screen Display of the program. System Tray enables users to customize the program’s system tray icon. Mouse option lets users to customize the program behavior on different mouse clicks. Keyboard allows users to set the keyboard shortcuts. Scheduler enables users to create repeat volume customization tasks.
