VSO Media Player is an application for reading all popular audio and video file formats. Users do not need to download and install additional codecs to play files. The program’s interface is simple to use. The controls for the player are located at the bottom portion of the window. There is a button for full screen, a pause button, rewind, and fast forward. There is also a tracker for users to see which part of the video is being played. The program has a drag and drop feature. Users can drag files straight to the media player to queue it up for playing.

VSO Media Player allows users to create playlists for continuous playback of video and audio files. It is also capable of remembering the last playback position of a video so users can stop watching a video and resume where they left off. Other features of the VSO Media Player are:
