WinAVI Blu-ray Ripper is a program used to rip, copy, and convert Blu-ray discs into popular video formats (AVI, FLV, MP4, 3GP, those in high-definition formats) and other audio file formats ( MP3, AC3, WMA, AAC, OGG, and many others). It is also used to decrypt Blu-ray discs and remove their AACS and BD+ copyright protection, Region Code, MKB V21, MKB V20 and conver these discs into the popular multi-media formats compatible with different types of portable devices (smart phones, dedicated players) used today. The program’s compression engine converts at speeds of up to 3GBs/second (on 50GB BD ISOs to MKV files).

This makes output files compatible with almost all video players. The application supports different file formats including VDC, KVCD, DVD, and SVCD. Plus, it also supports high-definition formats, such as WMD HD, AVI HD, MPEG2 HD, and MKV HD. Another feature of the program is customization of the subtitles.
