Windows 7 Manager - File Splitter

Windows 7 Manager – File Splitter is a small utility designed for splitting and merging different types of files. It was developed and distributed by Yamicsoft. The program is bundled with Windows 7 Manager suite. It cannot be downloaded as a separate program. However, users may be able to launch it separately from Windows 7 Manager. It can be accessed via the Start Menu or through Windows 7 Manager folder.

The program’s interface is clear-cut. After launching it (either from Windows 7 Manager interface or separately), a small window appears showing two options – Split a File and Merge Split Files. The user then chooses what action to take. When splitting or merging a file, the user only has to choose the file to be split and the destination path. The default destination path is the same path of the original file. The program also offers four options for the size of the split files. Users can choose from CD Disk (650 MB), DVD Disk (4400 MB), Blu-Ray Disk (23300 MB), or Custom Size. The Custom Size option enables the user to decide file size for each of the split file. Users can also choose from Byte, Kilo Byte, Mega Byte, or Giga Byte. The program also displays the number of the split file. There is also an option to remove the original file after the program is done splitting it.
