WinMend Auto Shutdown is a tool used for automatically shutting down the computer. It can also perform other tasks automatically, such as standing by, logging off, or hibernating the system. The program has a countdown timer that shows up 30 seconds before the program shuts down the system. This allows the user to cancel the operation if needed. WinMend Auto Shutdown can launch as soon as the system starts up. The settings can also be tweaked by the user. When the main window is not in use, it is minimized to the system tray.
The program’s main window shows all the options for setting up the program. The main window has two parts – Task and Time. On the task window, users can select one of the four actions that can be performed by the application (shut down, log off, sleep, and hibernate). The schedule for the action can be set on the Time window. The action can be done on a daily basis at a specified time, once on a specified date and time, or users can also set a countdown timer. After setting the options, click on the Start Task button at the bottom of the screen. The program has a simple interface that can be changed with the built-in skins.
