Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Winter Assault is a video game that was released in 2005. It is an expansion pack for Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War. Features include a new faction, a new campaign, and other changes in the visual aesthetics of the game. The game’s premise is about a large war vessel in Mars that was regarded as the epitome of empire dominance. Whoever controls it can control the world by force.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Winter Assault has a new faction called the Imperial Guard. This faction has the strongest defense compared to other factions in the game. It also specializes in Attrition Warfare. It has tunnel networks that can allow stealth transfer of troops. There are also two new campaigns. All the races will try to gain control of the Titan. The Titan has a unique weapon system that can be use to destroy the Necrons. Units in the game were also simplified. One, such as the Marine Predator tanks will now only carry anti-tank weapons. There are new winter battlegrounds with a revved up terrain. There are also in-game objects and structures that players can interact with. There are twenty new multiplayer maps for players to play. When playing online, there is a mode called the “observer mode” that enables users to just watch the game while not directly participating in it.
