Aside from converting HD video files, this program can also be used for extracting audio files before converting them. Capturing images from videos as well as setting the output file size can also be done.

Xilisoft HD Video Converter 6 offers support for multi-core CPU. This feature allows the program to distribute the tasks automatically on the multi-core allowing users to achieve high speed for video conversion. It also features video-to-picture conversion. This can be done by setting the capture and duration interval then saving it using any of the supported formats. Transferring converted HD videos to iPad is also possible using the application’s HD-to-iPad Transfer feature. Aside from iPad, users can also transfer converted files to iPod, iPad2, iPhone4 and iTunes. The program also offers support for ATI Stream and NVIDIA CUDA Technology.

The program also offers setting for the HD video conversion. It includes legible format system allowing the program to assemble the HD video formats available for the user. Custom parameters of profile are also available in this application. Different parameters for audio, video as well as image profiles are organized for easy viewing.
