Xilisoft MP4 to MP3 Converter is used for extracting audio files from videos and converting them to MP3 format. The program supports a wide variety of video formats including AVI, WMV, MPEG, and MOV among others. In addition, the application can also convert existing audio files to MP3 to make them compatible with different devices, such as mobile phones and MP3 players.

The program has a simple and intuitive interface where users can see the different functions the program has to offer. Command buttons are located on the top portion of the window, and a list of all the files imported to the program is displayed as a list. Other information, such as the filename, format, duration, profile, output size, and status of each item is also displayed. On the right side of the window, there is a settings menu where users can set the filename, audio quality, and channels for the file. Additionally, there is a media player at the bottom right part of the screen for previewing audio and video files.
